Serving as the budget manager for operating budgets and ensuring appropriate expenditures of all funds allocated to the department administration. Hiring and training in activities related to general accounting, procurement activities including p-card, accounts payable and receivable activities, t-card and travel reimbursements, Human Resources, course scheduling, undergraduate advising and graduate program areas. Overseeing Human Resources transactions, time and leave, effort reporting, purchasing and travel, and approving financial transactions and personnel actions. Overseeing all business operations of the department including supervising administrative, accounting and academic staff.
